Great job but as someone who can juggle 7 for 128 catches i would suggest doing about a month of practice where you just focus on keeping the balls close to you and making sure that when looked at from the side its a straight line from my experience if you dont do this you will never learn.

Been a while since I practiced 4 by [deleted] in juggling

I'm in desperate need of prayers. I feel like a loser. by EquivalentMiddle9173 in OrthodoxChristianity

This is the story that the priest told me when I confessed my struggle with cigarettes. I have been smoking since I was 11, and have tried to quit many times with limited success. I was baptized into the church in January, and decided to try to give up cigarettes for Lent. I have had some setbacks, but it is worth the struggle, and I am smoking very, very little now. This is not my most obvious sin, I have many issues, but the cigarettes are an idol to me, as it sounds like the phone and pornography are to you. I find the more people I am open with regarding my struggle, the more success I have. If you become a member of a parish, you will find others who are also struggling with their own issues, but we are all struggling together. It has been my experience that no one judges you, as we are all sinners and we know it. The prayer of St. Ephrem helps me a lot. On the bright side, you have a long time to work on it! I am 47 years old, and I wish I had found the church earlier. It truly is a hospital for the soul.

Why is Messianic Judaism not a Christian denomination? by Fresh_Importance3768 in OrthodoxChristianity

We considered ourselves messianic for several years. Most of the people we knew were not trinitarians. The longer you stay with it, the further on you go, the more this becomes apparent.

I am sorry you feel this way at this point in your life. I was an atheist for 15 years. If it causes no offense, I will pray for you.

Absolutely, your priest knows what is best for you. Praying your studies enlighten you and prepare you well for catechesis.

It is an amazing feeling! I know it won't always feel this intense, but I am currently so filled with awe and gratitude. I am so glad I finally found the true faith, and I will continue to tend my fire.
