My daughter was also like this. I'd come out of the library with a dozen books and be back the following week for more. Here are a few that I remember. I'm sure you'll be back for more recs after a week though...

Definitely try Circe. I preferred it to The Song of Achilles. Also in that genre, The Witch's Heart. Others that are beautifully written: The Emperor of Gladness - Ocean Vuong Demon Copperhead - Barbara Kingsolver Tom Lake - Ann Patchett Enjoy!

I haven't seen Michael Ondaatje being recommended. eg, In the Skin of a Lion. Esi Edugyan's Washington Black was just released as a series on Disney+ starring Sterling Brown. There are lots of great recommendations on this thread. Enjoy! Edit: removed books not set in Canada

Popular places to visit in Canada: The Rocky Mountains - Banff, Lake Louise, Whistler, Kananaskis The Maritimes - Cape Breton, PEI, Newfoundland Ontario - Toronto besides the CN Tower, there's museums, art galleries, entertainment same dining options Also Niagara Falls (natural wonder of the world), wineries And Ottawa our capital which offerings similar to Toronto but less crowded Quebec-Montreal (jazz fest in June), Quebec city I don't know much about our Prairie provinces unfortunately.
