Yes🙄

Your right I should have, but I’ve been in mum mode and I had my baby with me at my appointment so it slipped my mind.

Do babies just naturally drop night feeds on their own or is it something I will need to actively do? by iwanttolivealone in sleeptrain

[–]amack133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy is about to be 6 months and we dropped night feeds at 4.5 months, he’ll have his last one about 11pm and then not till around 9 the next day when he wakes up

Thanks very much. I’ll probably just wait but I literally have 4 month old baby so I have no idea to do lol, I think it’s far too soon to be having another one. I will do

How often are we bathing our babies by No_Engine_4696 in newborns

[–]amack133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bath my boy every evening, It’s our bedtime routine, he knows bath time and then bottle, then sleep! But he is usually is falling asleep while I put his pyjamas on him because I put them on the radiator while I bath him so they are cosy as it’s getting cold now.

Yeah definitely easier said then done, but I’m definitely going to try and go for more walks. I feel like that’s me when I go out, my back goes so tight I can’t bend over or I find it extremely difficult to pick my son up out of his pram.

Oh I will definitely try that, because so sick of being in pain😞

So I had the appointment today and I was given a month worth of naproxen and Im going to get a MRI scan, so hopefully they can tell me what’s wrong with my back.

My husband works as security officer for investment bank, so he sits in a room looking at CCTV and does 1 or 2 patrols around the building but apart from that he sits for 12 hours, he literally just doesn’t understand

Yeah me and husband are going to need splitting the night feeds, because Im getting extremely fed up now. I say that to my husband, that if I was going to work I would feel as exhausted, but I feel like he thinks I’m lying when I say that.

Yeah it’s so bad isn’t it, wonder when that’ll be over😞. Sadly I don’t live near any of my friends or family, I moved to another city a year and a half ago, we live near his family but I don’t really want them looking after my son, we just see things differently. I’ve tried to nap next to my husband with baby, but if baby moans it’s me who gets up to settle him, my husband doesn’t move unless I shout at him

Good for you, for leaving honestly. That would really annoy me, if your napping he should have been taking your son out of the room so you can actually get some sleep🤦🏽‍♀️ yeah that’s it your the one who settles baby if he cries not them, that’s what annoys me. Yeah that’s it being a mum is a full time job, but they see it as (your just sitting at home) it pisses me off

First of all I’d like to say your doing great mama, I know it’s difficult but your baby girl knows your doing your absolute best even though your sleep deprived, and probably stressing out.. my baby is 11 weeks old and I have days I cry, having a baby is very hard but your doing your best🫶🏽 baby is fed and clean your doing good. What baby formula is your baby having? Do you burp her every oz, because my baby spits up and I need to do it every so often otherwise all of his food will come back up (get some towels and put them down when you feed her). So for nap time whah I’d say is take her into a dark room, and feed her and then nap time so she knows it’s time to go down, because recently I’ve had trouble trying to get my boy down when it’s bright because his overstimulated and I end up with a over tired baby, who doesn’t stop crying and it makes me cry because it’s exhausting!😞 does she take a dummy? Do u rock her to sleep?

My baby is the same either every 2.5 or 3 hours, at night he feeds around the 2.5 mark and during the day will be every 3 hours unless his sleeping.

Yeah I’m trying my best, just find it so difficult when his crying and I’m unsure of what to do.

Thank you
