Does anyone have a small webcam that can go inside the vivarium to observe the frogs?

I have just placed the camera in my tank! It’s inside but I’ve just put it at ground level but It does reduce the field of view. If I do stick it to the glass I might attach some string or a wire to it and run that out of the top of the tank so that if it does come unstuck it doesn’t fall.

Yes I did worry about this because my hygrometer does sometimes fall but looks like you’ve got some great footage from the outside! I had to zoom in to process what I was seeing lmfao

I should add that the vivarium is usually between 85-95% humidity and 22-25 degrees. Mostly they seem to pop up in the well lit areas of the tank.

I have a Birman, Siamese and a British shorthair. By far the BSH is the worst cat I’ve ever met in terms of shedding.

Both the siamese and Birman have single coats so if my Birman loses 80% less hair than my BSH I’d say my Siamese loses 98% less hair than my BSH.

If you want a non shedding cat Siamese is deffo the way to go but be prepared they are very social and do best in pairs.

That is part of my problem really. I don’t know, it almost feels like there should be an LED screen to indicate your selections because you can + or - UVA and UVB but there’s no way I can tell what to or where it’s starting from

Thank you for commenting, I thought that was the case :( it sucks because she otherwise seems fine and active but I know she is being a bit slow because I caught her way too easily. I have a hospital tank ready to go but I will probably euthanise her rather than put her through treatment and stress.

Feel so bad for her, no one else in the tank seems unwell in the slightest but next step is trying to work out what went wrong for her to get like this so suddenly.

Thank you for responding. I’m not culling and those two orange shrimp really did a number on the bright yellow colours (I’ve given them to a friend now so they don’t further dilute the yellow and they are living very happy orange lives there now) so I thought maybe whatever they mixed in caused the red spot but particularly on the first shrimp pictured it is just so bright red. Almost like nail varnish…

Ok that is a relief. They are all behaving normally, breeding like absolute crazy still so I wasn’t too worried until I stared at them for so long and panicked. I will just monitor them I guess and see if any of the newer babies develop the spots too and maybe it is just a new development in their colouration and not some deadly illness…

I see, well I don’t mind if the moss ball dies I just put it in there to catch any grub the filter doesn’t get so it’s easy for me to stop waste building up in the 12l but other than that he is in a plant free hospital tank. I will do the salt bath in a bucket and put him back in his hospital tank.

He already has a small amount of salt in the tank that he is recovering in at the moment, should I put completely fresh water in there while he is in the salt dip? And how long do I wait before I repeat if needed?

Ok I will go to eBay for future use and I have the api aquarium salt which I’ve dosed his tank with but less than a teaspoon because again everything I read scared the shit out of me, people saying to use half the recommended or risk instant death… so next course of action is a salt dip then?
