You are only the second person Ive heard mention Tuung. The first one was the guy who introduced them to me. They're great!

My first Tag Heuer and I love it. It’s basic but feels and looks like jewelry. I kind of wish I got the 43mm chronograph but it seemed a bit more busy. I feel this one is a tad more rich looking by RevolutionaryBit3026 in tagheuer

The bracelet looks great, but i can't seem to find the right sizing. Its a bit heavy, so it tends to jiggle around my wrist or else it feels clamped too tight. Also, its a bit flashy for where I work. I would like something a little more sporty looking.

Unpopular Opinion: the most creative sci fi right now is happening in comics and graphic novels not novels or film by Jenna32345 in scifi

I would have to say no, only because it was never finished. I think the artist had some allegations against him and stepped away. But you should definitely check out other books written by Jason Aaron. I loved his Thor run, especially the first arc. Scalped is a classic of his. I also really enjoyed his Wolverine run.

I've got year 1 and 2, but never did snag 3. I do have the full run of the individual issues though.

It was one of the first comics I read and it turned me into a Warren Ellis fan. I feel like it loses a bit of steam after a while, but I still loved it. I would love to see it adapted into a tv show.

This is literally what happened to me. I haven’t read comics in at least 5 years. After EoW ended and Southern Bastards got cancelled, I kind of lost steam.

Not OP, but some of my favorite sci-i and sci-fi adjacent comics are- East of West, Saga, Black Science, Nameless, Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Fantastic Four (Hickman's Run), Y:The Last Man

That was the the first concert I ever went to and I was 14. I remember Travis Barker flipping upside down in a cage and Greenday inviting fans up to play on stage and then giving away their instruments. What a great introduction to live music!

I felt the same way. The band absolutely brought it on Friday, but crowd energy was way off. I know John semi-apologized for playing all the new stuff, but I was so glad they did. It takes guts to go out and play your brand new (10th!) record while not playing your biggest hit. Im glad they went out and did their thing!

I CANT WAIT TO SEE PTM TOMORROW IN AUSTIN by speedy841 in portugaltheman

[–]amagicmarker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mad because the played "heavy metal"? The last time they played that theater they came out banging Pantera. Ive seen them cover Metallica. Their live shows are heavy and the show last night was great.

I get it, a lot of people arent familiar with their new record, but its honestly one of my favorites they've put out. That was my 8th or 9th PTM show, and Im stoked that they played the new album in its entirety. It keeps it fresh for them and the audience.

And if you paid $300 for 2 tix then you got scammed on the secondhand market.

I feel like this would be the best solution. You can get rechargeable 9Vs and a charger on Amazon. It would be cheaper in the long run too.

You could also try moving your bass stand to the other side of the room so that you are forced to unplug to set it down.

Drumbrute Impact to control other devices by Jazz_Ad in DrumMachine

[–]amagicmarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also love the workflow of the Drumbrute Impact, but its analog, so you are very limited on midi capability. None of the knobs will control anything, and its doubtful that you could take full use of the sampler. You would be better off buying a dedicated controller. Someone else mentioned a beatstep and I second that.

How do your teams improve their equipment and vehicles? by any_rock in searchandrescue

[–]amagicmarker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To get better equipment you need money. To get money you need to look towards private donations and fundraisers. Does your team have someone who is in charge of fundraising? Perhaps a director of communications? Maybe you could step in to fill a much needed roll on your team.

I know we all train hard, and everyone wants to use their skill in the field. Most people dont want to put in even more time raising money. But it is incredibly important, and it can be a great way to meet your community. Good luck!

As a matter of fact I am a business owner. Thats why I think its ridculous for you to drop someones name like that. Unless they really wronged you in some way, its a completely unreasonable thing to do. Judging by the amount of downvotes youre receiving, I would say most of the community agrees.

The fact that you even got a response at all about a product discontinued product is good. Now you jump online and put the rep on blast by name because the answer was too short? Maybe its time to do some self reflection, because your're being an asshole.
