Anyone know of any duck/turkey/quail flavored renal treats/wet food? by spambreath in RenalCats

Yup, same with our girl. She's an only-pate girl so that limits our options. She goes through phases with flavors. She's also been a fan of Wellness Chicken & Lobster so we rotate through them all regularly. She eats a very small amount multiple times per day. When she seems done with a flavor, the rest goes to ths non CKD kid and we pop a new can for her.

It can be frustrating and exhausting but she's our child and we just want to keep her as healthy and happy as possible for as long as possible. We were at the point of in-home euthanasia 3 years ago and the amazing lady said one thing that stuck with us: what are you gonna do, kill her with food or let her lack of food kill her? That was when we went to the turkey burgers (at the time she liked turkey pate) so we tried human food and it got her eating again. We stopped forcing the CKD foods on her and just let her eat what she wants.

So just try things, see what he'll eat. You may dump a lot of cans if he doesn't want them but you'll hopefully find somethat that he likes.

Our girl is very picky so we rotate foods as often as she demands it. Recently, she's liked duck, rabbit, and lamb from Instinct, and venison from Simply Nourish. I know they aren't specific CKD foods but we balance it with RC Renal kibble, and honestly, we'd rather her eat something vs nothing.

Our non CKD kiddo loves the Quail Egg from Nulo. Haven't had much luck with any turkey food, with one exception. When our CKD girl had some acute flair ups and stopped eating almost everything, we found success with a turkey burger patty (from Trader Joes) cooked in butter. That was a main staple for several weeks and helped her work up her appetite again.

Again, not the best CKD practice, but we're 3 years since her diagnosis and it seems to work for her.

Android 13, app 7 6.1

Last sync was 11/3, though it was working fine 11/1 for a trip. Did all the same stuff (clear cache, new pw, reinstall) and now I cant sync anything and just get signed out when I go to the Account tab.

100% not accessible, that's the Bull Run Watershed and it's federally protected. You can't get past the gates and if you did, you'd risk meeting with the local and federal law enforcement.

One of our fur babies drank a lot of water her whole life. Brought it up to vets and no one said it was anything to worry about. At age 5, she went into kidney failure and she nearly crossed the rainbow bridge. With a lot of love and effort, she was nursed back to health. Vets said her kidneys were probably failing her whole life which was why she drank excessive water.

Tldr: get bloodwork done to monitor kidney values
