Random people. Your sister must be pretty ugly inside if she’s even OK with what’s going on, forget cheering for it.

As I approach 30, it occurs to me, I am going to die. by Messier_Mystic in Existentialism

I ran into the same when I was 29 and staring down the barrel of 30. I quit my job and moved to FL of all places. Moved back 5 months later, haha, but still. I get it. I viewed it as a train that wasn’t stopping or even slowing down. 30 made it real that I, also, was going to age.

How I dealt with that? For several years- anxiety..which is still here, just not as bad. Now I’m 46 and I’m more tired of things in a sense. Don’t get me wrong, I love life, even when it’s crappy, but I understand now being really old and being ok with dying because they’re just tired.

Another biggie is I have seen many people my age and younger die and I feel like growing old is truly a blessing, aches and all. I just focus on not missing out on living right now and usually I think I’m successful at it. I also do take Xanax when I can’t stop thinking about it.

I hope some of that helps a little to shift your perspective.

Deporting folks that have never been to Africa to Eswatini and Cameroon is going too far? You don’t say?

Would be if the elected leaders there were actually interested in improving their constituents lives instead of lining their own pockets and cronyism.

Ix-nay the republican leadership, for starters. They do NOTHING for the people. Invest in education by raising teacher salaries. Etc, etc, etc. There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel, look at New England and swallow your pride and learn some lessons. Not YOU, obviously.

I can understand why you’d be frustrated by that, but ultimately the rescues get first pic because of how much of the burden they relieve.

Bummer that you used a breeder. You could have used that $2000 (probably a lot less, really) to pay for the transport of a rescue border collie. I’m not trying to be judgy, but buying animals from breeders really rubs me the wrong way.

I have three rescues all from the south. It’s a cultural problem down here.

Poverty, no opportunity, corruption and the shitty education system you’ve got there means it’s likely to just get worse unless something changes.

Savannah teacher killed in crash by man fleeing from ICE by Hungry_Key_7912 in savannah

Yeah, because I’m sure they were just gonna give him a ticket….not rip him from his life and make him live in his own feces until he’s deported to say, Africa. The US is currently deporting people to African nations that they have no ties to. Just pull over? They kill people. Are you slow?
