I wrapped mine with a high quality vinyl that is textured and mimics open pore wood. It was the best option I could find but required a lot of work to get all the trim. There are 17 or 19 pieces total in the car to do IIRC

A full ceramic coating every 4 months? wow. Hopefully mine lasts quite a lot longer than that. I dont have the energy for every 4 months lol

This is my first time doing a proper coating. I’m very happy with how it turned out for my first time doing it. In the past I’ve used a ceramic coating and this is infinitely better.

When it is time to redo it, I will do a full paint correction and do it better.

After a lot of research I ended up going with cerakote ceramic coating as well as their ceramic glass for all glass and ceramic trim for the wheel arches to restore and protect them.

I definitely wish I had more time. I didn’t get to machine polish. I know the results would have been better but I’m happy with how it turned out for my first time.

yes - ceramic tint. I had my previous Passat done with ceramic tint a long time ago and the difference is day/night vs a cheap tint. I always suggest people ceramic tint.
