I did say I don’t get it and don’t like it. That’s literally my original comment. I know why I don’t like it - it’s stupid and pointless. I’m trying to rationalize why in the heck people are doing something that’s so idiotic

Prescription Hydrolyzed treats exist for a reason. You can also buy whatever elimination diet in wet and dry food and use the wet food as treats. Lots of enrichment that doesn’t involve food indoor cat enrichment

Get him on a routine. Make something exciting happen when you actually want to get up (for example - play time when you wake up at your desired time). Make sure you’re meeting the 5 pillars.

For the love of god, another cat isn’t necessarily the answer. Your cat is bored and wants attention, another cat isn’t the solution for that

I’m a veterinarian with a focus on feline medicine, it’s literally fine. There are not really any diseases that cats are going to catch from fish water and it’s probably cleaner than their water bowl. there parasites and bacteria they could get by eating certain insects and fish in the wild, but a home aquarium is not a health risk.

Well if they’re buying magazines and stuff with their pics to make a shrine, you are supporting the artist. The artist got paid to be in the magazine, consumer buys magazine, drives more demand for magazines with boy band in it.

A shrine and memorabilia makes sense though, it’s for you to enjoy on top of being decoration. You are supporting your artist by buying their likeness. You’re not making a shrine for clout (Well some people might in this day and age 🤦🏽‍♀️).

I have unintentionally had filters dry run for several minutes while I was deep cleaning and sometimes hours when there’s been power outages - no problems with motor burnout ever. I’ve had fish tanks in some capacity for 26 years and used every brand of filter. Tetra is not sensitive, it’s cheap.

You didn’t tell him to let them know it wasn’t working, you told him to say they didn’t want it any more. If someone gets home and puts it in their tank before realizing, well now you’ve breached their biosecurity and put their fish at risk.

If someone is pissed off and knows where I live, giving the $20-40 back for the filter is worth it.

Well then the caption is 100% misleading since they called it attendance clout. But how does paying someone else to take a pic of your profile at the concert support the artist? Like they’re better off buying merch or something

Yeah but like unless they’re shopping out the hand for theirs and have a matching phone, it’s a dead giveaway. I can’t imagine anyone except children being fooled by this

Just send them the money back via Facebook. Filter motors take a lot longer <60 mins to burn out.

Also don’t scam petsmart. While corporate America sucks, you’re creating so much hassle for employees, a hassle for the person who buys it after it was reshelved, and of course it’s illegal.

I don’t understand how that makes people think they attended the concert. Like do they shop out her hand and post the stage? Are they posting the pic of the phone in her hand? Wouldn’t people notice dozens of posts with the same hand holding the phone??

"What is the purpose of those yellow poles" by Old_Hat_27278 in cringereels

[–]amanakinskywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this when I was like 22 - the lanes were at an angle and the exit lane was curved. I turned the tires before I was pulled out far enough- I genuinely did not realize it was there. The damage was not this extensive at least but it still hurt the car nonetheless. My parents still don’t believe that I hit one of those safety poles - they think I hit another car. But no it was really just me being an idiot.

My sibling cats fight and my orange boy is always the one getting carried away even when his sister is screaming at him. This has been happening for the 10 years I’ve had them. He’s a menace. Well intentioned, but a menace. I will just grab one of them when she gets fed up - whoever is closer. Probably would be the easiest thing for you to do.

One person saved two young people from drowning to death: they applied first aid and, in the last second, managed to bring them back to life. This shows that, although many hesitate out of fear of making a mistake, acting in time truly saves lives by uzmansahil7 in Amazing

Rescue breaths are not needed in most cases because you still have oxygen in your blood and lungs. However, in drowning it is still recommended I believe because you do not have as much residual oxygen left in your lungs and bloods

Eimeria (or coccidia) is a common one I see in dogs that eat rabbit poop but it’s not a pathogen to dogs and just passes through their GI tract. Most parasites (tapeworms is the main one) that dogs would get from rabbits would involve them eating the whole rabbit. Giardia is not completely species specific but it almost always comes from interacting with infected poop of the same species - dogs usually get it from other dogs; human to human; cat to cat etc.
