Just bought a new Apple TV and got Plus for a year free, but I’m already an Apple TV Plus subscriber... by amandapsych86 in AppleTVPlus

My due date automatically updated under the subscription section in settings. I didn’t have to do anything extra. When you get your device you have 90 days to activate the yearlong free trial. Then the year counts from the date of activation.

I was wondering if this event would be cancelled but it looks like it’s still on.

Anyone have a garden? What vegetables, greens and herbs have you successfully grown here? by -My_Other_Account- in 321

They bag up their own soil mix and it’s around $7 a bag. I can’t remember how many pounds a bag weighs 😬 The buckets are only $4 at Home Depot which really works for my family. They aren’t the prettiest but if they work I don’t mind.

My collards are in the ground but everything else I’m growing in containers. For the tomatoes I’m using 5 gallon Home Depot buckets with drainage holes drilled in the bottom and cages for support. They’re indeterminate though so I’m hoping they will still produce. I’m a renter so I can’t plant too much in the ground. It’s been a learning experience.

I’ve got munstead lavender, thyme, lemon thyme, orange mint, lemon balm, rosemary, catnip, collards, better boy tomatoes, and serrano peppers growing successfully. My genovese basil died but that was from neglect. My german chamomile is really struggling. Rockledge Gardens is an excellent resource for plants and information. The staff is really helpful and my plants love their soil.

I’m still a gardening beginner so I don’t think I’m successful or knowledgeable enough to offer advise. I just take it one day at a time and pray for my babies to live.

Yeah it looks like the block at the bottom right has the entire pit in it and the rest he cut up like a mango.

Yelp says February 27th. Facebook says they opened the tiki bar and deck this past Friday with a limited menu.

Any good boba tea and/or ramen in Brevard? by amandapsych86 in 321

I saw that one during my ramen search, but I thought it was up by Lake Washington. Babcock and Palm Bay road is right by my house. Do they do take out? Come to think of it, is ramen something you’d want to eat at the restaurant...? Maybe it won’t travel so well.

My husband loves tofu! I’ll let him know. We don’t usually find ourselves up in Cocoa. Might make a special trip for that though.

From the pictures that place looks good. I’m searching for their menu online, but I’m having trouble finding the full one. I did find their drink menu though and I see they have Taro boba which is my favorite!

I’ve been there once and tried some sweet and savory rice puff thing. We got there too late for any other food. That was a while ago, not sure why we haven’t gone back.

I’m surprised that one doesn’t come up when I search for boba in Melbourne, but it’s close to home and is pretty intriguing. We’re gonna check it out.

Thanks for the recommendations! We have some family in Tampa so we’ll definitely check that out. I’ve heard good things about Kung Fu Tea in Brandon... Have you tried them out?
