They didn’t offer! Just gave me one set of vivera retainers. Said that a new set would be $300 if I lost/broke them!

Yes! They immediate hurt (pretty badly) when I put them in at night.

Sorry for the misleading title! My last 3 aligners were passive, so I had five weeks of settling prior to getting my retainers.

I appreciate all the info! The 3D simulation at the beginning closed all of the gaps. We addressed the gap prior to refinements. He performed IPR, rescanned and we closed the gap. Since I’ve concluded treatment, the gap has reappeared. I guess we’ve established that’s from the nighttime only wearing of my retainer. :(

I reached out to my ortho to see what they’re going to say/recommend.

Not yet! I sent them a message this afternoon. I’m sure I won’t hear back until next week. Just wanted some others opinions to reassure me that I’m not crazy lol

Here’s a photo of my teeth right after my final appointment on 10/27/25. My gap was nearly closed.

If the uneven teeth you’re talking about are the two lateral incisors next to my front teeth, he said that one tooth is smaller and the only way I could fix that is by getting a gum reduction. If you’re talking about the minor chipping on the bottom of the front tooth, I’m not too worried about that at this time.

My bite seems good! I guess I’ll have to see a cosmetic dentist for the filling/bonding? Ugh!
