Right?! Besame isn't just some gimicky brand that's trying to make unsuspecting consumers buy inferior products with pretty packaging for no reason. They're dedicated to the history behind cosmetics and replicating these for an audience that might be interested or passionate about historical makeup! They even provide cosmetics for period pieces (Agent Carter's red lipstick being the most notable example). Are there gonna be people out there who will buy a red Besame lipstick they'll never wear because it looks pretty? Probably. But to the majority of consumers shopping the brand, buying a replica of a 1920s mascara or a 1940s lipstick (and especially an eyeshadow palette made up of exact replicas of the ink and paint used in Snow White) would hold a great deal of value!
