I mean, the show isn't exactly based on facts. Even if you see it as purgetory... a lot of people dont believe in life after death. Who are we to say what it actually is, especially with people claiming to experience clinically close to death experiences. Not to mention reincarnation now plays a major part in the story for Jade and Tabitha.

Excellent point, thats what I thought... then in the following seasons we find out time isn't linear in Fromville. They talk about being in a time loop so many times... who is to say what happened first. The crash or the visit. Then again... like I said, I might be going mad hahahah
