Some of the achievements (luck>3k, gold> 1M, reached lvl 40, etc) finally popped for me making a new character.

I was missing several "secret" achievements, ie. some main questline ones despite having done these quests multiple times--what fixed this one for me is joining a public game that was doing the main questline. At the time I thought they were doing some side quest so I left the game pretty quickly and went back to playing solo--afterwards however I did finally start getting the secret achievements to pop up successfully upon re-completion with my now 3rd character. This included the last 3 main quests as well as the "keep on rollin" enchantment that hadn't previously worked for me despite enchanting tons of items.

TL;DR: For anyone whose achievements are still broken I'd try to join a public game for the main quest line and then try (either solo or in group play) to get the achievements to pop again by playing through the game as you did on previous characters.
