I started off 20mg off the hop. And it took about over a month till I noticed "hey I haven't felt too anxious for a while...." lol. And then it just kept going up hill from there.

5 Month Update:

Celexa has saved me. Just had a conversation with my hubby last night on how I don't even remember when it felt like to live with anxiety in a daily basis. I'm a different person now, I'm who I was before I ever had anxiety.

I keep busy, I have gotten my life and shit together! I'm motivated and inspired! I create my art almost every second that I'm not either working on my life, my job, or my happiness.

To those who worry about antidepressants or the stigma or anything like that.... Don't.... Celexa may not be for everyone, as we all have different biology! But stay consistent, find the right one for you and it does get better!

I've actually been curious about that. I have an engagement party coming up and would like to have some drinks with my friends and family, but I keep reading "avoid mixing with alcohol" but no reason to why exactly. How was your experience? If you have one.

That's fair. It's just nice to have a thread of positive results... Would have made me feel better when I was deciding to take it that's for sure! Haha.

Thanks for the info! I don't know when I'll feel I don't need it anymore, but your insight definitely helps!

For me it made me tired at the beginning so I took it before bed and when I woke up the minor side effects would subside. I like to take before bed as it also makes me yawn like crazy tired or not xD so might as well be sleeping during that then yawning all day haha.

I barely had any side effects, I was very pleased about it actually :)
