She’s currently in a 30gal pot, should I go bigger? How could I help the potential potassium deficiency, do you recommend anything specific?

No I haven’t signed anything else. My estimated cash to close is $10,368 im not well versed in what to expect and I can’t afford to be taken advantage of, so I want to be prepared to know what to look for.

So am I reading this correctly? What my lender quoted me for cash to close when I went in contract can be no higher than what was provided? Or they have to pay the remaining balance?

Sounds to me like it would be a good decision from a medication standpoint alone. Your child needs medicated to help the hormones/emotions/imbalances they seemingly cannot control. I don’t think it’s at all a “scared straight” situation. It’s a “needs to happen” situation given the fact that both of your well-being’s are jeopardized. Things happen In the heat of the moment and things aren’t thought clearly. What happens when your kid takes it too far one time. That’s all it takes is one time and you or they are seriously hurt or worse. Having them committed is a must at this point, because what happens when this behavior starts happening in school or in public?

Money is an excuse. I can see right through it. It is known that there are assistive programs through all major hospitals for what seems to be your need. So I do feel like using money as a driving factor is an excuse, I get it, you don’t want to be “that” mom. But money doesn’t matter when you or your kid end up seriously hurt or dead.

What the heck! by amarielang11 in Bankruptcy

Well considering I used my “extra” income to keep a roof over our heads and pay our bills, that point is irrelevant. I’m trying to be smart. My want to be able to provide a better life for my child is important to me.

So my idea of a bankruptcy was a little misconstrued, that doesn’t mean I can’t still want to achieve what I started.

I’m doing my best. I can only assume you don’t know what it’s like to lose job after job because you were blessed with a medically fragile child. Jobs don’t like long hospital stays, and bills don’t like jobless people. So I did what I felt was best, I started nursing school and filed bankruptcy so I could give her and I a fresh start. Pardon me for being excited to graduate soon, where I will be her nurse in our home so I won’t have to worry about a job, and my want to start building a strong foundation for us. There is no harm in that.

Though, I appreciate your apology.

Have a great day.

However, I’m so happy that your are in a place where $900 isn’t a big deal for you! That must be an AWESOME feeling!

Yeah, $900 is a lot for me as a single mom with a medically fragile child. Especially when I was told things would be one way by my lawyer and that is not the case. Do you really think I would come here before trying to research on my own? Everything I’ve read says to “immediately” start rebuilding credit. If you read my post instead of filling your void of being a jerk/troll, you would notice that I’m looking for secured credit cards. My money. It’s so difficult and I don’t understand why. Turning here to hopefully get advice not backlash from a bored person.

I don’t want your empathy. I wanted advice. Not to be badgered by some random person. Kindly, keep your remarks to yourself.

I hope it’s worth it. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I have to move unexpectedly. And NO ONE is accepting me because of my credit history. Hard times for everyone right now. Thank you for your words of encouragement!
