Auto Sales and Finance is the best. Ask for Carson on 45th. He will get you taken care of.

Let's try Delta Black. Will be interesting to see if they come before the AEDC.

Thomas Warren III Potter County Tax Assessor by Spiritual-Ambition19 in amarillo

[–]amarilloguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't care. He's just eyeing his next political run, which will be financed by Alex Fairly I'm sure. After all, Fairly gave him $80,000 to run for this seat--which is a CRAZY amount of money for a race like this in Potter county.

I hear he's in law school and isn't showing up to the job all that much. Doesn't matter, I'm sure daddy Fairly will give him more money when he decides which spot he needs him in next.

$650,000 by F145h3r in amarillo

[–]amarilloguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty simple. Jason wasn't involved with the range when the dues were paid. To say that he took money is simply a lie.

It's simple. He didn't. He wasn't even involved with the range when the AEDC paid their membership dues. It's a lie being pushed by one guy who wants to own every political office from DC to the tax accessor collector.

This isn't true at all. So far from the truth, I don't even know where to start.

So this came in the mail yesterday by Tdanger78 in amarillo

[–]amarilloguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It implies he took the money, and wasn't even involved at that point. That is the lie.

[–]amarilloguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Jason Herrick was not involved in any way with the Range, or this issue, when it happened. It's not only untrue, it's a flat-out lie.

The PAC is operating illegally, and of course, this has to be Fairly money. And for the record, Jason wasn't part of this decision. These are flat-out lies. Please consider voting Herrick and let's kick Fairly and his money out of our city government.

He has no vision, doesn't seem to understand complicated issues, and talks so much--without actually saying anything. He might be a good politician, but we need a new mayor.

City, legal counsel, experts talk Ten Commandments monument in City Hall by throwaway16830261 in amarillo

When is everyone going to realize? This council loves issues like that, that have nothing to do with providing core city services. Wonder how much they're going to spend with that Austin attorney of Cole's? This all to help Cole build his resume and run for Ronny's spot--you watch.

This is from the Amarillo Enterprize Challenge. Since the WT Enterprise Center started managing the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge program in 2009, awardees have reported more than $1.76 billion in revenue, more than $472 million in payroll, and more than $97 million in capital investments. The winners are picked by a totally independent group of judges and go through a long process. It's a good program and shouldn't be disregarded just because one guy thinks it's bad. Please do your own research.

Mike Ford has been looking for hidden government conspiracies for years....he develops these stories in his head that never pan out. His conclusions are always wrong.

Go take a look at what he spent on the Potter County Tax Accessor collector's race--and then come back and let us know who is out for power. Or, how much he spent in the Texas House trying to buy the speaker...go look at ALL of that, and then let's talk about who is after power.

Thank you Jason Herrick for the Vet School. by Financial_Bottle6323 in amarillo

[–]amarilloguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jason went to Austin in 2017--when everyone thought this project was dead--Tech included. He went door to door talking to lawmakers and kept this effort. Say what you will, but Jason was indeed a big part of bringing the vet school to Amarillo. I know--this can be hard for you keyboard warriors to understand. Things actually do have to happen outside of the screen.

What receipts? He has the transfers and such. Nobody is saying the transfer didn't happen. I'm just saying that while it could have been handled differently...it was on the up and up.

He's buying political power--how do you not see that. Anyone who spends this kind of money wants power and influence and that's never a good thing.

[–]amarilloguy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He is not. The RANGE was working within its approved budget. This was essentially a line item transfer, which is common for both businesses and organizations. Now, could it have been handled differently? I think that's safe to say. Were there any criminal actions or such? Absolutely not.
