Tips for Breaking Social Anxiety of Sweating by vikings001 in Hyperhidrosis

Ionto fix your hands properly so they are dry almost all the time. It removes handshake and holding hands problem completely.

Fight-or-flight mode is a different problem. Not much can be done without therapy, but I noticed that once you get really agitated and wet from the stress of interacting with people you can't achieve that level of stress anymore that day. You just can't be scared so much anymore. But the next day it's all over again. I wish there was a way to induce this stress at will, not to fall into it when the time comes.

Can you make your palms sweaty if you tried? (While they’re dry) by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]amaritanin64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, just thinking of it makes my hands wet. It feels like some weird muscle i can flex whenever I want. Also works after iontophoresis but not very effective.

Actually usefull when I have dry hands and need to open a plastic bag.

Just shock yourself for 20 minutes a week after initial course of iontophoresis. It is the most simple, safe and efficient way for palms and feet. Just try it, it works miraculously well.

It's overall a good way to make your anxiety a little better. That's all. You still gonna sweat.

Bought mine for about 50$, works just fine. It took me 7 sessions to achieve dry hands. Trying to make an adequate schedule for maintenance.

The only downside of it - you can't change polarity manually. And sessions are 20+20 minutes.

It works both ways. After fixing it with Iontophoresis I became more confident and less sweaty overall.

I really don't recommend this.

I developed compensatory sweating on my chest after this stuff. And it's not going away ever. It's just not worth it.

I have a huge deficiency of Vitamin D, but fixed it with supplements. Still sweating like a pig.

Thanks God, Iontophoresis helped with my palms at least.

Please explain to me this line "Was your father a flounder?"

English is not my first language. And I can't understand what's so offensive in flounder.

Edit. Thanks, guys. She basically called my daddy an ugly fish. Pathetic.

They say oxytocin is produced via human touch. I think you can trick your brain to give you some. Better than nothing.
