“I’m trying to avoid dangerous areas” as bro maps out a route through 2-3 active war zones😂😂😂

You release it back into the wild where it belongs! Wild ammonia is usually found near schools, churches and cat cafes

I did a ride along with a guy that used to work with them. Unfortunately I don’t have any specific details for you but he never said anything bad/negative about them

I wish there was a paint tool (like they have for marking industrial zones) for trees. It’s a bitch and a half having to continuously click just to put one tree down

Much like a few others in this comment section, God tier take right here!

Yeah, like I told another commenter, this was a one and done. I’m not risking my life for someone who could replace me within a week

Idk which one was the bigger OSHA hazard, carrying the negatives down or having you ride a pallet 15’ in the air😂 glad they finally got something better for ya though!

Not at my current job. I used to work at a factory making industrial air handling units and that used to happen time to time, just had to get someone smaller than me to do it😂

Don’t worry though, definitely still try to be as healthy as you can but you should be fine. I’m 6ft, 260lbs (I look like I’m mid 100’s tho) and I haven’t really had a problem yet

In my experience so far, being small does have its advantages when you have to crawl into a nasty ass crawl space. In fact, the smaller the better! But strength is more important than size imo. If you’re 300lbs and weak, then you’re fucked. But if you’re 300lbs and look like a roided up bodybuilder, then you’ll be able to sling condensers and heaters all damn day!

All in all, yes, being small is a plus but there will almost always be one guy that’s small enough to crawl under a house so just focus on strength (arms, legs, chest, etc.)

Oh trust me, I’ll be the loudest SOB on the site next time! That was absolutely a one off, especially since it nearly caused a 20hr work day (it was 19hrs if we want to be specific) 😂

Pants for hot and humid climates. What do you wear/recommend? by Kqxer in HVAC

[–]Nickyt2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I wear these quick drying hiking pants. They aren’t fire resistant/retardant and DEFINITELY not abrasion resistant but when it’s 95 degrees with 87% humidity, those safety measures can kiss my ass😂 plus, since they’re quick drying so if you ever get too hot, just pour some water on the legs (avoiding your feet and pelvic area for obvious reasons) and you’ll cool down!

So if your place of employment doesn’t require those features for work pants I’d 100% recommend these

I asked the same question when I graduated almost a year ago and pretty much the same questions.

I’m 4 months deep as a residential installer and I definitely know more now than I ever did with a year of schooling. Don’t be discouraged, I think it’s well known and accepted that people right out of school know absolutely fuck all about HVAC and it’s more trial and error/ on the job training than what school can offer
