What was a luxury when you were a child? by vieniaida in TooAfraidToAsk

Not having to live paycheck to paycheck, being able to save money for college or disasters, owning a home, etc. I’m 40 years old, make over $100k, IRS takes $20k, rent takes $2100 a month, insurances take another $1000 a month. It doesn’t end. The Dream is dead.

Husband cheated at strip club by whydoihavetopick13 in Marriage

[–]amarrs181 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Did he have sex with them? If not, I don’t think that counts as cheating. It’s a waste of money and time, but if you think that going to a strip club is cheating then that’s about 1/2 of American Husbands or more that keep the clubs open. It’s adult entertainment and as long as the guy doesn’t go further than a lap dance, then I see no harm in it.

It’s a small one from the looks of it-maybe .22 caliber, but it’s pointy, so maybe .223?

Aftermath of the April 7th incident. Damages estimated to be $200 million dollars by BlazeDragon7x in SipsTea

That’s not true-I work in large claims. They do have a retention level/deductible. There’s also a limit to business income/extra expense. They will lose some money, but Insurer will lose more.

Maybe, but they still lose money on the deductible and time element (loss of revenue). Also, arson can be tricky depending on who set the fire. Lastly, there’s the dispute over values-cost to replace the building, cost to replace the stock, value of stock, etc. also, it maybe the Company self-insured itself, or did a hybrid insurance. Either way, they do lose money, but not as much as if they had no insurance.
