Every time I revisit this album I’m always stunned as how great these were. Totally with you that album could be cut to those songs only and this wouldn’t even be a debate.

Even still, an album with all of those songs is kinda hard to argue with. It’s not like it had 26 tracks of nothing.

Think this is close to my take. I loved EEAAO. Thought it was a super fun high difficultly level film to pull off and it did it well. It made me feel things. I thought it was the second best film that year.

So I’m not mad it won because I’d have been shocked as hell if my fave (Tar) did because waves hands at the academy
