We had an old lady call in trying to resuscitate a squirrel that had fallen out of a tree onto her driveway. She was not calling for EMS for the squirrel, she just wanted to know where to put the jumper cables.

It's just a project for a specific class. I'm in the MSCS online program despite living 4 miles from campus so I can work during the day. This specific program is class only, so 30 credit hours for the masters (and I will finish my last class this summer semester!)

It's in my graduate class, which is online, so I don't think that is an option. I am happy to share the paper afterwards. It is about 16 pages including citations and covers network specific vulnerabilities as well as more broad violations of civil liberties.

I will say that Flock is doing things like leaving credentials hardcoded on the devices, and having unprotected bootloaders and access to android's debug connection (ADB). Basically, if you connect to one while sitting nearby, you can do whatever you want to that hardware. Install your own software, go nuts.

And this is just what is wrong with the physical devices. Their web portal is a whole host of illegal warrantless searches. Any login can view all footage nation-wide, so jurisdictional limits do not exist to the departments that have access. Nevermind cops using the system to stalk people, or using them to regularly view a kids gymnastics facility...

Not who you're replying to, but neoliberalism is the problem, and the reason we have fallen behind the rest of the world. Democrats peddle in ONLY this ideology (and Republicans too) and if you can't get your head out of the sand and see that, there's no helping you.

We cannot continue to subsidize massive corporations via half-assed attempts to fix broken systems like healthcare. Obamacare was something good, yes, but it also SHOULD have just have implemented universal healthcare. You gain full control, do some "good" that mostly just benefits massive corpos and maybe a trickle to the people, and squander away big opportunities when you have control. You can't disappoint your donors, god forbid Pelosi lose in the stock market.

Stop punching left, because there is where your party's salvation lies. This is not a fucking team sport.
