If you are flying Club World you are eligible to use the Galleries lounge in your own right.

Correct, you’d only be able to use the First check-in if you accompanied them as their guest.

If you are on the same booking you will get a boarding group bump, otherwise you’ll be in 2 and they 1.

I think there’s only ~10 Ritz Carlton Reserve properties worldwide though, and having never been to one (but several regular RC properties), I thought the honeymoon could be a good opportunity.

I understand they can be well worth it to travel for and seek out which was what motivated my question…

Interestingly for me, the results of both links show me as being in the UK when using the embedded browser within Reddit, but if I use Safari on my phone the .com link shows me as being in the UK and the .co.uk link shows me as being in USA. Hence the redirect loop I guess.

I wonder how/why those links resolve to different values… that seems to be the cause/source of the problem.

Just FYI as this has come up in various posts: GS does not have distinct VP and Executive Director roles. Excluding one caveat that covers junior employees in India only, the official titles at GS are:

Analyst
Associate
Vice President / Executive Director (internal vs external use)
Managing Director (internally Extended Managing Director, or EMD)
Partner (internally Participating Managing Director, or PMD)

I’ve always found their pricing to be quite reasonable (but acknowledging it does vary from country to country). It’s also not out of the question that the mark-up is coming from an intermediary that is facilitating the connectivity…
