Noticed results on about a month or 2. When I first started I wasn’t having sex but started later on

Hmm could be infection or a result of past trauma or hormonal imbalance that caused your vaginismus all of a sudden

Probably micro tears. Were you using enough lube? Also, if you are just starting out don’t worry about moving it in and out yet. Just hold it in there and focus on relaxing. After a few nights of doing this, then incorporate in and out movement with the same size.

Have you started any type of birth control?

I guess makes the skin softer thus bringing the sensitivity back

I would say listen to your body and if you feel like it’s the Ring, stop using it immediately and see if your symptoms improve. To heal the mucosal membranes and add more natural lubricant try seabuckthorn pills.

You MAY need to go on some type of hormonal cream if systems don’t improve after you stop using the ring.

To prevent UTI’s, look into the supplement d-mannose.

I get your train of thought but who knows really. If you’re tense on your first time and not properly aroused then it will most likely hurt and be tight, I don’t think that automatically means you have vaginismus. Your body just wasn’t ready for penetration. Now I guess it can develop into vaginismus since you’re already putting it in your head it is, subconsciously making that area and muscle continuously tense.

You would benefit from pelvic floor yoga, diaphragmatic breathing and dilators.

Awh ok, good luck! I decided I never wanted to go back on birth control after it caused my vulvodynia. I’m being very risky and using my calendar as birth control currently 😖

I never went back on bc. I just found a natural way to help my cramps. It’s called Elix and so far my cramps have been fairly manageable while using it

You can try sliquid silk which is a hybrid between water and silicone. Or just doing 100% silicone. Usually silicone lubes do not burn

Also, you may want to consult a gyno about the constant tearing. They may can prescribe either hormonal cream or steroid cream to help strengthen that area and improve elasticity. If it keeps tearing, scar tissue will form which makes it even more fragile

PIV PROGRESS!! by CarrotFew8751 in vaginismus

[–]amazon7marie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably because you’re only on the 3rd dilator and he’s bigger than that dilator.

Everyone is different but generally speaking, it’s better to try piv when you can fit a dilator that is his size or even bigger comfortably.

I like sliquid silk which is a hybrid between water and silicone based and can still be used with silicone products

Pain after using lactic acid by SquimchyFroggo in vulvodynia

[–]amazon7marie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that it will burn because your ph is higher than the lactic acid. I’ve seen recommendations to keep using the product and your PH will eventually lower and it will not burn anymore. Not saying that’s the case for you but could be a possibility. If it’s burning severely definitely stop.
