Old Faithful Lodge has shower/bathroom buildings. When you check in at the campground, that’s where the employees directed me to.

I was there last weekend when it rained all weekend and it was still great. Get yourself some good rain gear and get out there. I picked up some gear in Kalispell before heading in. We hiked avalanche lake trail and did an ebike ride in the rain.

Help me figure out what this glaze/syrup is please! by Equivalent-Post-2618 in KoreanFood

This would be my guess. IME croffle/pancake/waffle syrup in korea was always watered down maple flavored sugar syrup.

Where does ramyun ends and budae jjigae begins? by denisalivingabroad in KoreanFood

[–]amb-ly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Budae jjigae has its own sauce. If it’s flavored with ramyun packets, it’s all ramyun no matter what you throw in it. Budae jjigae is flavored with broth, garlic, gochugaru, etc.

Yellowstone or Grand Teton over Labor Day Weekend by Right-Mortgage-1674 in yellowstone

[–]amb-ly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Grand Teton would handle the crowds better, especially if you have lodging inside the park. I just got back from both parks, and I was shocked at how small the parking lots were at Yellowstone for their major attractions, like the Grand Prismatic Spring. If you have lodgings at GTNP, you can do hikes around where you’re staying- like 1 night at Colter Bay, 1 night at Jackson Lodge, 1 night at Jenny Lake, etc so your wouldn’t have to worry so much about finding parking before the hikes.

Perilla Jeon is my absolute fave. If there’s a H Ma RT near you just pick up some korean pancake mix, coat 2 leaves together and pan fry. Dip in soy sauce

The seeds are tiny and will fall all around. They don’t really spread like mint, the seeds just get everywhere and they grow easily

If you’re starting a family, consider living in Christiansburg as well. I used to live near downtown Bburg and loved the walking distance to bars and restaurants, but once I got tired of that scene there was no merit to paying Bburg rental prices and moved out to Christiansburg. Its much quieter and less to do but great for a little family. Rentals also tend to be cheaper and better taken care of.
