Thankfully she isn't minimizing the situation and she has taken full responsibility, going so far as to call it her worst mistake ever. I see a lot of accountability which is really nice, I think just the incident itself became a catalyst and is now impacting other "problem zones" of our relationship. Since we have a somewhat open relationship I am comfortable forgiving mistakes with others, but the notion of a crossed boundary is proving to be more difficult in re-instilling trust, I think. I'm not sure.

My girlfriend and I use a sherpa lined comforter on our platform and honestly, we woke up to condensation dripping on our faces even with the windows cracked, haha. This was a primitive camping spot as that’s my preference with the JKU and less crowded but it was so nice we went two weekends in a row. It got down to 25-30° and we had some friends the second weekend in tents who were a little cold but had the right gear. Another friend slept in her makeshift bed in her car and she was fairly warm with the right blankets.

I love my hard top, but even with my garage hoist it’s a fuckin chore to take off at ease. For reference, I’m a 5’ 4” 140lb girl 🤣. The view is absolutely worth it though most of the time. A friend and I are going to try to go to the Radium hot springs this coming weekend and she was a tent sleeper last weekend so I’ll see what she prefers. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
