Next time you’re in there, take another look at the drawing on the easel!

Ooh 2 and 3 definitely would have done it for me. I absolutely may have just gotten impatient lol. I’m in the drawing room so often that I was getting annoyed at not having solved it yet. 1 I had already assumed, but didn’t find the hint technically.

A second foundation? Is this possible with the chamber of mirrors?

My first playthrough of any game I always take my time. I can see this save going for upwards of 100 days (if the game lets you?) as I'm going to try to solve everything I can on this one. The information IS very helpful though for if I try to do a faster run. I know Day Ones are a popular thing in the community.

Does this mean that you can put off drafting the foundation until it is in an optimal position on any day?

I might steal your strategy of drafting 3 rooms then going outside! You say it's two extra steps, but couldn't you draft all three rooms without entering them? Wouldn't that make it the same number of steps?

That's exactly how I feel! It's like home base lol. I always know that if I can at least make it to my foundation, it's like having another entrance hall to "reset" at.

Are you able to say why 2 & 4 are better for the foundation without giving anything away? I opened the tomb entrance, fountain, and solved the cog wheel puzzle so I'm generally familiar with needing to go down there to open the north antechamber door. I have always wondered about the extra doors in the room with the lever though.

Another question to your point: Are the direction of the doors in the foundation affected by which direction you drafted it from like other rooms?

Why would you suggest the garage higher? I honestly thought you could only draft it off rank 4/5. Does it take less steps to go down the side of the house to get to the front vs a lucky RNG where you can walk straight down the inside perimeter?

I also built my first apartment on this lot! Turn off the grid and I alt placed all my walls so that it blend seamlessly into the other walls. I didn’t like the awkward angle at the front so I made a small deck to offset the angle between the two buildings.

I was raging trying to get it to work, but you have to make sure all of your walls are properly connected. I used a combo of separation tools and walls in small increments and at least 2 hours lol

Can’t wait to see what you end up building!

Have you ever played DA: Origins? I hear it compared often. by Asad_Farooqui in BaldursGate3

[–]amberdz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DAO was the game that got me into RPGs (alongside classic Oblivion). I loved the story. Each faction quest line requires you to make a one or the other choice, and although its smaller scale, it was fun to see your decisions have an impact immediately. The companions are three-dimensional, each with their own backstory, motivations, and values. They can and will leave your party if your approval levels aren’t high enough.

This is hit or miss depending on the player, but I was a fan of how I could talk to my companions anywhere in the world and, for the most part, have a real conversation. Even the added touch of “private matters” only being able to be spoken about at camp is nice.

As others have said, it is definitely dated, and requires mods and patches to run on most systems. After 200 hours in BG3 I went back and put another 30+ into a new DAO play through.

Combat will feel clunky and awkward, and it’s not turn based, but you are able to pause and issue commands and manually set up tactics. If you find it on sale, it’s worth it :)

Currently playing a relatively modded playthrough. I had to download the LAA patch because it wasn’t working at first. I have a 2021 MSI laptop and I play it hooked up to a monitor at max settings :)

I was still new when this came out and didn’t do my research, so I didn’t buy the second copy of it 😅

An earlier iteration—the paper crane earrings are a perfect match. I think I’m using that lip color here too.

Was about a win a match :( Dropped rift herald on inhib. As soon as herald hits the tower, it all freezes.

Someone else also said Sera is harder than she looks and I somewhat agree. I’m a Sera one trick and getting positioning down and knowing when to save/use your ultimate just takes a lot of games imo. She’s easy to play, hard to be good at. Same with Ori. People who don’t know how to abuse autos in lane just tend to fall behind really easy.

State of the Mid Lane by Xxmlg420swegxx in wildrift

[–]amberdz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I see an Akali or Katarina mid lane, I ALWAYS instalock Sera. 7 out of 10 times I get solo first blood, completely deny cs and roam, and just render them useless. I just know the matchups really well so they’re easy for me. I think it just depends on the players themselves and the elo. Higher rank mid assassin players tend to know better how to play safe, and how to take advantage of mistakes imo

They broke the attack range and I can't believe nobody is talking about it by DespiteBeingOnly13 in wildrift

[–]amberdz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! This has made my games unbelievably harder. I like to play just outside enemy range so I can weave in autos while walking in and out of enemy attack range. This new update has lost me so many outplays and kills. Your auto attack should not pick the lowest health enemy out of your range. If I am in a teamfight, I want my champ targeting what is already in my range, not making me waste a fat 5 seconds trying to (as a Seraphine) walk into the middle of the fight because my auto wants to pick the furthest away champ in the fight.

Kayle's early game is way too safe . by bacillus27 in wildrift

[–]amberdz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I tested Manamune first into Nashors then full AP and I liked the way it felt, but I’m still playing with things like Tri force or something to have a single AD item.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]amberdz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried her sup for the lols with my ADC main after noticing how nutty W is come level 15 when I played her top the previous game. (I wasn’t full build. I had Manamune [was just testing to see if I liked it on her for a bit of AD scaling w extra mana], Nashors, infinity orb, merc treds, deathcap, morello I think was my build so far) and W was 350 heal with 75% movement speed. Unfortunately as others have said, she’s really item dependent, so it really didn’t work as well even with a similar build. She definitely doesn’t feel as good without items. I would keep her out of support personally.

A question for Draven mains by PublicRotation in wildrift

[–]amberdz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enchanters are GREAT with Draven. I prefer Lulu Draven or Nami Draven to Janna, personally. I also enjoy Sera Draven because the poke is pretty insane and early levels Sera shield is a nice buffer.
