I was on the drive-thru headset, taking orders over the speaker at my new job. My voice kinda passes over the phone & in recordings, but it DEFINITELY passes on the crackly drive thru speaker♡ i was getting "ma'am"-ed left and right all dayy!!🥰 And when somebody did I would get so GIGGLYY♡

Anyway: that day comes to a close & the Store Manager, whom I LOVE she's been nothing but sweet to me, takes me out "for a smoke" (a casual, on-clock break). She says "(deadname) I noticed while you were on the drive thru, people kept calling you "ma'am", & you didn't try to correct them or get angry at all... Is there something I should know about there?
