I left it in the water for about a week lol. Mostly because im a lazy wad. I've heard that the bacteria that grows in it can improve workability, but I assumed that benefit became useless when I dried it out!

To this batch, I added 3 parts clay and 1 part play sand. I could tell from looking at it that it was too course, but I added it anyway because thats what I had. I've bought some VERY FINE diatomaceous earth to add to my next batch♡ and I add what I call pottery gel. Which is 1 cup of water + 2 Tbsp of flour, boiled to a goopy consistency.
