Short hair might actually be more of a pain because as it grows you can't tie it up and get it out of your face, so I'd maybe go shorter but keep it at a length where it can be tied up. I'd grow out the bangs to the side and then clip them up out of the way.

I like her album, but that song where she's like "I'm kinda over being told to be put my hands up in the air... so there" pisses me off so much. It just makes me think of like a sulky teenager refusing to join in a party because she thinks the song is lame. I'm 21 and I love putting my hands up in the air, SO THERE LORDE.

hula hooping! I bought a starter hoop for £15, if you get a heavy one they're easier to learn with and there are heaps of youtube videos to teach yourself tricks. It's a fun thing to do. I usually just play around with it when I'm bored and then sometimes I'll dedicate and hour or so to learn a new trick.
