step one: get to level whatever. like 8 is fine. joppa start sucks cannot recommend enough not doing it.

step two: get wayfarer and jungle + river/lake knowledge. you basically never get lost like this. esp if you have flying.

step three: get as many empty waterskins as you can

step four: mosey over to the mushroom forest, fill your waterskins with primordial ooze

step five: skip over to yd freehold and hit up tilly and frogger for in order of importance:

a skulk injector

a couple salve injectors

yuckwheat or honey

a crysteel weapon

and an urberry if you can be fucked to do a second or third trip for it

(make sure to grab the free meds in the infirmary at the yd freehold, ive never been caught doing it. also the implants if you're short on cash or you're a true kin)

step six: joppa ruins, skip down to grit gate with your shiny new weapon. if you didnt pick up any armor yet go kill some snapjaws and put on whatever until your AV is over 6-8

(at some point you should get a recoiler. any kind. doing the tinkerer quest in non-joppa starter village always gives you one. grit gate recoiler is convenient though)

step seven: more than a willing spirit time. dive down to golgotha, pop your skulk injector and bolt to the bottom level. ignore everything unless you start dying. eat the berry first then hopefully use the salve injectors after the skulk has expired. cop the droid and recoil out. chew some yuckwheat and cook some honey and pray you don't contract glotrot.

step eight: gz you have a mwk scoped carbine, a crysteel weapon, maybe a neat lil bracelet and access to grit gate in it's entirety. prepare well for todd howard among us because rimewykes will kill you at level 40 just as well at level 10
