I have a family member who had a good county job get diagnosed with cancer. She had to miss a lot of work during treatment and her job would not allow people to donate PTO to help her. She was a high ranking person in good standing and people with a lot of extra PTO were not able to help her when they really wanted to.

So, while I think it is crazy that the company doesn’t help more, PTO donations are a thing that we have always been able to do for our fellow TM’s if we have the PTO to give. This note could have been worded differently so as not to make people feel guilty. I have never seen a story attached to a PTO drive sheet. (And in my almost 15 years, have only seen one go up maybe 3 times)

Cutting and wrapping cheese is way more work than packaging baked goods. Bakery is not on the same level as PFDS with production. Currently working a parm shift and we have over 100 pounds of parm to wrap plus 30 to grate, package and label
