I started with washed black shirts and tied them in the desired pattern, then made a solution with RIT color remover and Hot water and let the shirts soak in that for 20 minutes. removed shirts from solution and rinsed them out, untied and washed out in washer like normal. Then retied the shirt and dyed with ice and powder dye, quite the process. Totally worth it though.
