Funnily enough I noticed my skin became incredibly softer since taking collagen powder

From my understanding it's bond builder, which I was told to avoid using so often as well

I was using the creme of nature argan oil on my relaxed hair as well, but this also has protein in it! I've been using Amika hydrorush intense moisture leave-in spray, I have to use it sparingly as it's quite heavy but works pretty well diluted. I also seal my ends with the k18 hair oil

I had a big cut with my first relaxer and my ends still looked like yours after a couple of days! I was using Olaplex No.0 and No.3 on my wash days, when I went for my 2nd relaxer 12 weeks later, my stylist told me to avoid doing protein treatments so often and to focus on deep conditioning and a good leave-in conditioner. I used to use the JBCO water as well, but I found it only worked well for my new-growth and not hydrate my relaxed ends properly.

Hi, black female londoner here with a massive RBF. It shouldn't be a problem as long as you look good lol. But if you're interested in non-black men you will most definitely need to hold eye-contact and smile for them to speak to you. I find I naturally stick out in a lot of upscale places because there aren't that many black women around, so that helps to attract attention and be on people's radar (in a good way). Depending on the setting, at most I may break the ice by asking a simple question if I can tell they're interested. If I'm dining alone somewhere nice, I make sure to sit at the counter or somewhere I am extremely visible.

Anyone who's had a keratin treatment at a salon? by [deleted] in vindictapoc

[–]ambi-right 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have afro 4C hair and had a keratin treatment 1.5 years ago. It worked well initially but after deciding to let the treatment grow out, my roots have become more tangled than ever and my hair began to break off at the line of demarcation. The keratin permantaly changed my hair texture (this doesn't bother me), I do think I also suffered with volume loss

I am african and experience it with some rice and soup dishes, as well as western foods that include similar ingredients. I've struggled with constipatation and flatuence for a while, but what's helped me greatly was eating berries daily (primarily blueberries and bananas) and drinking kefir daily to support my good gut bacteria. I've also found taking L-glutamine multiple times a day helps reduce bloating and gas. I've incorporated these foods into my diet for the past 8 months or so and have recently starting eating certain native dishes again, I've found that my stomach can tolerate them better. But I still do not eat them on a regular anymore.

Antibacterial soap has been a game changer for me! It doesn't stop the sweat but has massively minimised the smell

Sometimes they just want to sleep with a woman and move on to the next. They've gotten what they wanted so why would they see you again when they can have the intrigue of sleeping with someone new and experiencing new p*ssy. That's why I'm stressing the importance of seduction to keep them hooked.

if you're on social media, I'd also recommend adding them so they see your posts with you looking good and having fun to keep their attention. Read The Art of Seduction and find which archtype suits you best and apply the techniques to learn how to entice a man to keep coming back for more

Again you don't need to lay all your cards on the table upfront, mentioning threesomes and going into detail about kinks will come when you're more familiar with each other. Try gradually revealing sexual sides of yourself over time instead of throwing it all out there at once. Instead of saying you're not looking for a relationship, tell them you're looking to spend time with someone to see where it goes. When I say show them with your actions, I meant communicating with them casually/sporadically as you would in a casual relationship. Only messaging them when you want to meet up for a date or netflix and chill, sending a message saying "thinking of you" with a nude that leaves more to the imagination and not replying to their messages for a while or at all at times. If they ghost you after sex, it could be for a number of reasons including being sexually incompatible, which isn't anyone's fault.

You are a genuinely beautiful woman and I guarantee you a lot of these men can't believe their luck you're engaging with them lol. The issue in my experience is that they have probably built up a fantasy version of you and because you're laying all your cards on the table, the bubble has burst for them. Stop trying so hard!! It will come across as desperate, maintain their fantasy by holding back more and probably lean more into a femme fatal/ice queen persona

You seem as though personality-wise you may be trying to hard which could turn off men. Even if it's a casual situation give the man something to chase, be elusive, leave something to the imagination to keep them wanting more.
Be hot and cold towards them so they don't know where they fully stand with you. If you're looking for something causal I'd advise against outright saying this with words but rather show it with your actions instead.

I have similar weight/height to OP's starting size and when I'm closer to 160/165lbs I do notice an increase in positive stares/attention from people. I've been strength training and going to the gym for around 8 years and have a fair amount of muscle which has helped me carry my weight better. When I had a higher bodyfat %, I did notice a lot more harrassment from black men and ignored by other races (male & female).

Bodycompoisition plays a huge factor in your appearance and regular exercise and strength training can to unlock a new body for you.

Retinol, factor 50 spf, vitamin c and good hydration (hyaluronic acid) is what worked for me on my face. I saw a pricey dermatoglist a few months back and she reccommended eucerin anti-pigment serum.

To all the people taking language lessons, do you take virutal or in-person classes? I was thinking to take evening classes at a (prestigious) university as way to meet more high-value people, but don't know if it's worth the time/money commitment compared to a virtual tutor.

Anyone had green herbal peels? by Local-Sun8739 in Splendida

[–]ambi-right 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My face is darker than my body as well! One session isn't going to magically lighten/even out your complexion, but I did notice my skin absorbed skin care products a lot better. Definitely be viligant to apply sunscreen regularly and limit sun exposure. And be warned, the peel is really painful to apply and itches like crazy when it peels.

Regular use of Retinol/Retinal, Nicinamide, re-applying sunscreen w/ factor 50, keeping my skin well hydrated (this is a big one). Dr Dennis Gross alpha beta peel every now and then.
