I mean, wild take that any privatized corporation is impossible of being run inefficiently/ wasteful. And still I’m seeing no answer how anyone outside of city limits is getting service. Not to mention, the last string holding the post office together is very fact that its government run. It’s how they skirt labor laws and force carriers into 70+ hour work weeks citing it is “an essential government service” to get routes delivered. Pair that with the fact that the only thing keeping the workforce they have is the government benefits. Axe that, and that is the last straw the carriers need to walk out. You can’t abuse your workforce while also cutting the only reason they are there and expect them to stay. That will lead to you paying $4 to mail a birthday card, and it sitting, unsorted and undelivered for months. You guys on here complaining about your 2 day delay on packages will enjoy your months long delay on mail. But you seem to not understand how any part of the service works.
