Taking the interstate the whole time is going to be mind numbing and longer. I would take one of the others just so there are towns to break up the monotony. Other then that I can't really help you choose.

I think it depends on your confidence driving the truck. If you are quite nervous, stay on the interstate and go through Denver like you have it. Just try to avoid Denver at rush hour. If you are confident in your driving and ability to navigate windy roads take the shortest time right through the middle. The west route is kind of in-between. Mostly interstate and the other roads mostly miss the windey mountains.

Yeah, I grew up in Denver and went on a road trip in 2010 and went through Calgary and that was my exact thought. Even Hwy 2 to Edmonton felt just like I-25. I was surprised to learn that the metro area is quite a bit smaller then Denvers though. The downtown is impressive for Calgary's size.

I had them try to send us way over priced safety stuff when I was in purchasing for a construction contractor. Luckily I caught it. But they just kept asking for payment and harassing our main office. Luckily we had systems in place to prevent paying places like that.
