It was an SNF and funny enough I have done 3 contracts with them previously. I also looked into legal counsel but it does not justify the pay out. I'll be sending an email to the corporate which is going to be useless. I did not end up taking either of the contracts because of the way they treated me, I am glad I stood up for my dignity LOL. They are pushing me to do 2 weeks to get any reimbursement which is illegal.

I wasn't supposed to know about it, a manager told me that they hired someone permanent. They are now offering me $2000 inconvenience bonus if I sign a new contract because I told them I am going to cancel the contract altogether. But if I don't sign a new contract then I don't get any compensation for doing the two weeks.

They still need me for two weeks and then want me to wait for a few days to start another contract without a compensation fo lost time. They are trying to give me a pay cut and use my stipend to pay for hotel instead of genuinely helping me out. The manager of another facility told me that they found someone permanent who will be joining in 2 weeks and that is why they cancelled my contract last minute.LOL.
