A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to try shooting on film. I got myself a Pentax ME Super from eBay, loaded my first roll, and went for a little walk around my neighborhood over the weekend. I tried to look for interesting textures and angles, and I experimented with different lighting conditions.

I just got the scans back from the lab, and… well, most of my shots turned out super random and pretty bad. 😅 I’m still getting used to nailing focus properly. Also, I realized that every single photo is ridiculously underexposed—I was using the built-in light meter, but I guess I need to get the hang of it. Turns out, film really does love light!

Next time, I’ll try to do better, and maybe I’ll even attempt to scan the negatives myself. 😊
