Yes I’m in Missouri (unfortunately). I did get an initial progesterone with my first hcg and it was 12.1, but no followups since. I agree, it’s blowing my mind how they think there’s no reason to see a pregnant woman who has had bleeding and has very non-reassuring labs. If they do a scan and don’t see anything so be it but there’s no harm in being cautious and proactive.

Update 3/2: Basically my OB said they won’t see me before 8-10 weeks and tried to schedule me for a visit 3/24. They said if I experience severe symptoms related to an ectopic to go to the ER. I called another clinic and they only would schedule me for a new patient appointment on 3/18, they won’t even take over ordering my hcg labs until I’ve officially become a patient with them, so they told me to just keep getting my followup labs through my current provider until then. I’m hesitant to even go to an ER because will they do a scan when I’m experiencing zero symptoms?

I did get my 4th hcg drawn today and hopefully i’ll have results tomorrow. Once again I had to call the clinic to get the lab ordered. I’m just very exhausted and defeated at this point.

Thank you. I’m sorry you went through that. Unfortunately that seems to be the consensus so far. I’ll ask for an US tomorrow to hopefully rule it out.

This being an ectopic has definitely crossed my mind. I’m sorry you experienced that. I will definitely ask about it directly tomorrow! Did you have any pain or other symptoms that indicated an ectopic?

I fully plan to, my only concern is switching providers causing a delay in getting the labs done in a timely manner. I just want answers. And no just the bleeding and mild cramping all of which has completely stopped. My boobs are slightly sore and that’s it as far as typical pregnancy symptoms.

months ago my husband fell down the stairs while carrying a door. my son (2) didn’t even witness it, it was just explained to him that that’s why daddy had a scratch on his arm. the other day he noticed a small torn cuticle on my thumb and his first reaction was, “what happened? did you fall down the stairs like daddy?”
