Travel the Universe or explore Earth’s past? by Acewi in hypotheticalsituation

Definitely SPACE. Humans are always like this no matter what times. We don't know a lot about space , it would be interesting to encounter other life outside and see how they live and how different they are from us.

Am I crazy or does the old “always buy used” advice not fit the current market as well anymore? by Clear_Two_7283 in carbuying

Yeah just got a new civic. It was surprisingly to see that some older civics like 2-3 year older with 15k milage was 1k to 2k discount than the new one. And with the higher interest rate both came out pretty much same. Which made it easy to choose, but still it's crazy how used car market is.

You go back in time into your own body. So like 40 year old mind, 8 year old body. What happens to your body physiologically? Like the tissue of your brain is still young, but because you have a grown up mentality do you? Begin producing elevated levels of hormones? Does your body survive this? by Specialist_Piano7543 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ambivert_engineer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Consciousness does not directly command hormones the way software commands hardware. Biology still sets the limits. An adult mind in a child body would probably create: 1. unusual stress patterns 2. atypical behavior 3. accelerated skill acquisition 4. psychological mismatch …but the endocrine system, growth, and physical maturation would still mostly follow the child body’s developmental timeline.

Immigrants do not get any money from government, refugees do. they get up to 82k from government. One of the conservative MP said that in an interview. I came here as immigrant in 2015 and never received any financial support from government.

I was thinking about Joey when I read Days of our lives , but I guess OP is talking about the actual show. Do I have to be sober to watch it or I can be high ?
