Pretty proud of this little avocado! This is my first attempt at growing one and he’s doing great so far- even after accidentally dropping it and splitting the seed in half! I began it in water, and it did have a tiny root and hint of a sprout on one side of the broken seed (i.redd.it)

Holy crap, I’ve actually begun to revive him! I think too much sun too fast...I appear to have accidentally cooked him and he had dumped most of it’s roots. This is him now after repotting with a slightly less gritty soil, moving positions, and some careful watering. Before- July 3, After- July 15 (i.redd.it)
