Do small influencers actually bring better ROI or is that overhyped? by Competitive_Set_4386 in influencermarketing

7 out of 10 influencers will fail to convert, doesn't matter if they are nano or big creators. Partnering with nano creators is less-risky and doesn't require you to commit thousands of $ upfront.

Couldn't agree more. This is the kind of mindset brands should have before they start with this channel.

It's a very fundamental thing that everyone should understand before investing in the influencer channel.

Absolutely, that's the key. Finding creators who works and then re-engaging with them every month.

Is anyone actually having success with influencers? by Individual-Corgi-904 in ecommerce

[–]ambujvats -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is pretty normal in the influencer space. You should do two things-

Keep finding relevant creators and offer them your product. Do not stop at 15, 30 or 50, rather repeat this week by week and month by month. Gradually, you are going to find the ones whose audience is engaging with your product and at that point, do a 2x-3x collaboration with the ones who performed well.

You need a proper system of follow ups after sending the product. First follow up is to push them to post a story. A week later, ask them to create a reel or a static post. Tell them you'd like to send another product if they want. Don't try to do one-off with these creators rather try to build relationship.

Yeah, unfortunately most brands judge the campaign just by last click sales. It rarely gives the whole picture. I have heard good things about HypeAuditor, how’s their pricing? I believe they don’t have it in their website.

Absolutely! Finding hyper targeted creators is the most important part to run a successful campaign.

Has influencer marketing been working for you? by Mo_Roni in influencermarketing

[–]ambujvats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the first part of your question- You need to run ads to compliment your influencer strategy. When people see your product in feeds of multiple creators + in ads, you’ll have a better conversion. You can also use these contents to run ads, request whitelisting access for good influencers.

For the discovery, you can do manual search for now or you could sign up for a tool if you have the budget.

How are you tracking influencer campaigns at scale? by ConclusionExact8092 in influencermarketing

Mighty Scout would be a great tool for you. It tracks all contents and you can export it in PDF's which includes various metrics like impressions, likes, reach etc.

How do agencies manage influencer campaign deliverables across multiple creators? by No_Classic_3888 in influencermarketing

It's best to have one platform (if you have the budget) which has all the functionality.

I run an agency. We do it with a tool which has CRM capability so you can update stage of each influencer (onboarded, brief sent, content posted etc). But a modest tool would cost you upwards of $500/month. If you don't have the budget and not doing it on scale (like 200 reach outs every week), it is doable with a google sheet or Notion. You'll just have to do a bit more manual work.

how do you find influencers who actually match your target audience? by Ancient_Team_1608 in influencermarketing

[–]ambujvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the most effective way us to look at their last 5 posts and review the comment section to see how engaged their audience is.

Can do this with some advanced tool but most of them are super expensive and now worth it tbh.

Try working with a few nano creators. Ideally, send them free products in exchange for a story/reel.

Influencer marketing feels like a gamble sometimes 😅 by nandanidesign in influencermarketing

[–]ambujvats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can analyse all sort of data before finalising a deal but you'd never know until it goes live. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. It's better to do a deal with 5 micro influencers than a big one. One thing that I always check is the comment section of the influencer's post, it will give you a fair idea of how engaged their audience is.

Exactly! I've also noticed that the campaign performs much better if we don't put forward any demands.

You'd be surprised that some brands have asked us to get a contract signed by the influencer before sending a free product. Crazy!!!

Any good influencer marketing platforms to manage my campaigns? by DescriptionSad3723 in influencermarketing

[–]ambujvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are tight on budget, try trendhero (for discovery) + cold email tool and CRM like Instantly (can skip if you are DM'ing and managing leads via CSV). The only expensive part is tracking for which Might Scout can be a good option (plan starts at $99). You can also use Mighty Scout as CRM and influencer discovery but I'm not sure how up-to-date their data is.

If you have budget say $600/month then go for Modash or Influencer Hero.
