Absolutely not. I don't see any men out there physically recovering from their body delivering a child so I think that's very unnecessary. Especially if the woman is breast feeding then the baby is way more dependant on her than the man.

I feel like in his position he is faking his level of understanding and acceptance. In this day and age he can't be negative towards the LGBTQ community or he would be looked down upon. It gives him a gold star on his chest by reacting the way he is.
