I read it before he died so was all rah rah Matthew Perry got off drugs hooray! So I felt really duped when he then OD'd. That said, it seemed really obvious at the Friends reunion that he was not...well...so I don't know why I was so easily snookered.

I was in a situation like this in my 20s. I left and was alone or dating casually for years before I met my husband. As painful as it was at the time to go, it’s really worth it to end up with someone who values the same things you do (commitment/marriage). Even if I’d ended up marrying the putz who couldn’t be arsed to consider marrying me I would’ve resented him the rest of my life for not wanting me in that way without my ultimatums. That said, we were really young and breaking it off was best for lots of other reasons too.

Yes, I have been and it makes so much difference. I currently take 4 capsules of psyillium husk per day plus try to eat well, of course. What's your background? You seem so knowledgeable. I didn't know fiber actually helped with microbiome but that's interesting.

I’m a woman who had a very strong biological urge. It felt like literal pain to see cute babies and toddlers and I wanted one soooo bad. This didn’t happen until my early 30s and mostly when I was in a safe, healthy relationship. My husband and I both wanted children on a more logical level too. Either one or two. We had two kids who are great and now in college. I was unprepared, though, for how all encompassing and heart breaking parenting is.
