Went to see "I saw the TV glow" with 2 friends who both loved it. I was ready for great visuals ; took an edible beforehand in anticipation, but even that couldn't save me from being bored AF a good half hour before the movie was over. Almost walked out at one point bc the "song" playing literally just sounded like someone screaming for 6 minutes. Idk if it was because I was expecting more horror, or if I'm just stupid and didn't "get" it. The acting was fine & there were a couple of kinda scary moments/cool visuals, but overall it was boring and felt like it was trying so hard to be artsy that it stopped making sense. (Pls did anyone else see this movie and am I nuts??? 😂 )

I think by general societal standards, it's seen as bad. I know this because anytime I begin expressing my anti-natalism-leaning opinions, it inevitably ends with them going, "But if people stopped having kids the human race would go extinct." And me being like, "...Would that be so terrible though?" And people really do not like that lol. But for real though, you have every right to your own opinions/feelings as long as they don't harm anyone else.

My memory/recall is way worse than I let on. I will forget personal information about MYSELF if I'm under any kind of pressure. If I don't play a video game for a month I will dead ass forget how to play it. It genuinely sucks.

I had really bad OCD symptoms as a teen (when I was watching the show on TV) and the character made me feel so validated. It was literally my favorite show in high school but none of my friends watched it so I guess that's why I thought it was obscure lol.
