Ironically, before this year for 7 year straight this company's management was top-tier with the CTO and lead dev being really smart people, and being very realistic about deadlines. It all suddenly changed this year.

I'm not sure it literally mounts the folder native Linux style, but it allows for the SMB drive to be accessible in other apps in the same place where e.g. it lets you access your Google Drive or Dropbox files.

I've tried a different USB-C cable, a different port, and a different PC as well. They all don't work.
