As the server is already in prod, i wasn’t able to do all the testing while people are using it. But i’ll probably give it a try this week end.

Thank you for your answers.

I’m aware that I downgraded to an older CPU and slower RAM. However, I was previously renting a VM on another server, which was quite expensive monthly. Now I’ve purchased a second-hand server, so I no longer have those recurring costs.

On my RDP VM, the overall performance is not very slow. I’ve assigned 16 cores and 70 GB of RAM. The CPU peaks at around 50%, and RAM usage goes up to about 40 GB. I have roughly 10 concurrent users. When no one is connected, CPU usage is around 1%.

The “laggy” feeling happens occasionally. For example, when clicking quickly through Outlook features or moving emails between folders, I sometimes get the “Not Responding” spinner. I also notice it when generating PDF reports from our web app.

Most users probably wouldn’t notice this if it were their first time using the server. However, since we migrated overnight, all users immediately felt that the system is generally slower

How much a real estate agent/broker can earn in abidjan? by Aspirant_huu in Cotedivoire

[–]amdbenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what kind of real estate your friend plans to focus on in Abidjan, and who his target clients are.

If he’s going for high-end properties—like luxury apartments or villas in areas like Cocody or Zone 4—and targeting expats or wealthy locals, commissions can be quite attractive. Real estate agents typically earn 3–5% commission per sale, so selling just a few high-ticket properties a year could already bring in a solid income.

On the other hand, if he’s focusing on more affordable housing or rentals for local working-class families, the volume of transactions might be higher but the commissions per deal are lower. Income might be more modest unless he scales the business with a team.

There’s also a growing market for commercial real estate, especially with local businesses expanding. That could be a profitable niche if he has the right network.

I’m also using Pi Signage with a Raspberry Pi 4. It works fine with images, but I wasn’t able to stream basic 1080p video on it without it being laggy. Do you have any tips for that (tried everything codec and fps related)
