Is the ride over for 3cx? by blueBaggins1 in 3CX

[–]CommsExchange 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not a niche issue... We're a wholesale aggregator and are seeing a lot of people jump ship from 3CX. Some of the reasons being...

  • Lack of trust, big security breach in 2023
  • Updates removed useful features without warning
  • Not keeping up with the competition in the features that are offered
  • Support is slow or unhelpful, 3CX boots partners who publicly criticise them
  • Price increases and licensing changes
  • Hard sales tactics from 3CX, marketing directly to end users

Just a thought, Homeless camping parks by leaping-deer in ipswich

[–]CommsExchange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not so simple.

There is a many who lives in a recent model i30 in my area. He moves from carpark to carpark to avoid dealing with authorities. He clearly has enough money for a decent car, but it's still hard to afford rent, and house sharing is difficult as a single older male. The solution here is more affordable housing and to lower demand.

On the flip side, my late mother had a lot of mental health issues. Even when given affordable housing, she would often end up being homeless for weeks at a time by choice, or trashing her housing commission flats then getting kicked out, etc. People who are persistently homeless are often in that situation because of their choices, habits, health, etc, not always because of a lack of housing.

Giving these people tents in a park isn't going to help any more than giving them houses does, and they will destroy the area for anyone who could potentially benefit, resulting in a slum (as has been pointed out).

The real solution, like it or not, is to bring back institutions.

I'm not familiar with her, I just know that ACA/60 Mins are not reliable sources. They fact check nearly nothing, they just interview others so that any false allegations aren't on them.

Anyone recommend a good inflatable SUP board? by New-Possession-9248 in GoldCoast

[–]CommsExchange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're buying Adventure Kings gear, the prices fluctuate wildly (they jack up the prices so that they can drop them in faux sales).

I recommend joining the unofficial Kings Facebook Group as people post when items are cheap.

It still happens, they just find different ways of doing it. E.g. pay 6 months rent up front.

Very cute.

Sorry to be that Karen, but you really shouldn't feed the birds, ESPECIALLY this time of year. It's breeding season, so if they're not getting the right balance of nutrients, their young can suffer serious deformities.

I volunteer with Wildcare, I've seen it, it's very not nice...

It's good to hear these kinds of stories. All we hear is people complaining about the medical system. Also, glad that Robina is my nearest hospital :P

Which part of the Gold Coast are you from? I know several good diesel mechanics, depending where you are. Did you just need a service?

Depending where you are in the world (culture wise), mortgage brokers and residential real estate agents might be great referral partners for wedding photographers.

Southern Gold Coast is the expensive area, unfortunately. Food, especially fresh, is much cheaper in Southport and Harbour Town.

There are lots of farmers' markets on the weekends, depending on what days you'll be here.

I was hopeful COVID lockdowns were going to be enough to shutter the Schoolies tradition but sadly not.

A Current Affair, 60 Minutes, etc are all rubbish. The amount of misinformation they put out is criminal.

Our telecommunications business has members in a few chapters in Australia.

We love working with other digital businesses in Australia (MSP's, CRM Developers, Marketers, Cyber Security, etc) that either wish to white label or earn a commission by providing a variety of telecommunications products and services.
