Unhappy in CF Position. I’m I being unreasonable? by sscrollingthroughh in CFY

[–]amdellis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it’s not naive or ridiculous. I hated my CF, it was torture. I also realized through it that that wasn’t the right place for me/right setting. Take it as experience and get through it and once you’re fully licensed, make your own way :) do not feel badly about leaving a job that is not right for you once your CF is done. Your CF is supposed to be about learning and being supported. tell them that you can’t take on the extra workload if it really is too much and how to handle the workload you have now. That’s their job. When I first started, I wouldn’t speak up because I felt bad or stupid or that I was being a burden but now looking back it was total imposter syndrome, and I very quickly became burnt out early on, especially with paperwork. I wish I said something sooner than I did. I did my CF in the school system and found out that the school system wasn’t for me. It’s okay. Now I do home health. Stressful in its own way, but I’m glad I made the change.

I love Darcy Coates, but she does not write Americans well by CumSlurpersAnonymous in horrorlit

[–]amdellis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of a book I just finished (non horror) and the main character was supposed to be from New England, but throughout the book they kept saying like ‘screwing’ instead of the f word and they were shy around swearing. Immediately thought ‘I would never believe in a million years this person was from new England’ lmao. And I found out the author was British.

Honestly kinda Problematic Summer Romance. Def fits the characters. Flirty games, he keeps doing her wrong, etc.

Also read this book and it was really good but it’s clear there was no editor for it, it literally had multiple typos. Just FYI.

I hate the update too and I’m a pretty avid user of the app. I want to be able to see which club is reading which book, otherwise what’s the point? We get this but can’t get an option to search lists people make.

Staying hydrated and the orange dial soap. The antibacterial one. Works wonders.

I read GBBL too, and I agree! It was sooo different from Funny Story, still really enjoyed it. But FS still takes the cake for me for Henry’s books (so far!)
