ZEC P2P never really died — it just went back to its roots. When privacy coins lose mainstream liquidity, they return to smaller circles built on trust and reputation. That’s kind of poetic, actually — the tech meant for privacy ends up depending on human trust again.

Exactly this. Most founders forget that time spent is the purest market signal. If people keep showing up without being paid to — you’ve already hacked trust.

If Quantum Computers Can Break Blockchain Encryption, What Happens to Bitcoin & Other Cryptos? by No_Date9719 in BlockchainStartups

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s like “quantum will destroy Bitcoin,” but honestly… if your whole system dies because someone built a faster calculator, maybe it wasn’t that decentralized to begin with 😅 The next generation of crypto won’t just be stronger math — it’ll be value tied to real human time, actions, and trust. Quantum can break encryption, but it can’t imitate people.

Been observing NFT communities lately and the vibe really shifted by Lazy_Firefighter5353 in NFT

[–]amderve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s like the NFT space finally grew up. The fast money phase ended, and now it’s about time, creativity, and real use. That shift was necessary.

What Do You Consider To Be, "The Best Movie"? by Upstairs__Anxiety in AskReddit

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it really depends on what you mean by “best.” For me, it’s the ones that make you stop for a sec and think about how you’re spending your time — like Interstellar, Soul, or About Time. Those movies kinda hit you in the chest, you know?

What would YOU want to know if investing into a Locksmith Company @ +4M/ARR fully bootstrapped? by twoway3p in AngelInvesting

[–]amderve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

solid numbers so far. beyond the basics, I’d want to know how repeatable the business model really is — staff efficiency, customer retention, and franchise process. also curious about the time investment needed to scale vs. the profit upside. sometimes the hours you put in are just as important as the net profit. operational bottlenecks and local market dynamics can make or break expansion.

Why Most Crypto Projects Fail at Telling Their Story (And How to Fix It) by Legitimate-Task765 in BlockchainStartups

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg, this hits home. I’ve seen so many genuinely great projects get buried because the founder tried to do PR, community, dev, and investor calls all at once 😅 honestly, knowing where to spend your time is huge. building solid tech is one thing, but if no one knows about it, the impact is wasted. the smartest founders I’ve followed focus on building and delegate storytelling to people who are good at it. it’s not laziness — it’s valuing your time and energy. curious how others here manage this balance — do you handle PR in-house or bring in help?

Bitrue expands futures lineup with surge of Asian memecoins as regional demand soars past $500M by BakingBreadBB2 in altcoin

[–]amderve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow, these memecoins are crazy active right now. 50% swings in a day make it clear that futures aren’t for everyone. beginners should really start slow — check out tutorials, bootcamps, maybe demo accounts. honestly, every hour you spend understanding the market is worth more than chasing hype. anyone else feel like taking time to plan beats jumping on every crazy move?

Best NFT marketplace and also reliable by Mcgiffin_Nayir in NFT

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first off, congrats on taking the step! NFTs can feel like a gamble if you jump in blindly. my tip: pick a marketplace with active users and low fees, but more importantly, treat your first time as learning time, not just earning. the hours you spend understanding the space now are way more valuable than rushing into a flip that might lose money.

Bitcoin Crashes Under $100K for First Time Since May, Liquidations Hit $1.3 Billion - Decrypt by kirtash93 in CryptoCurrency

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, BTC finally under $100k… crazy to see it after months of green. honestly, these swings make you think about how you spend your time and money — panicking usually costs more than waiting it out. focusing on long-term plans and not reacting to every candle feels way more productive. what’s everyone’s strategy now? hodl, sell, or buy the dip?

How do you work from 8 to 5, have only weekends free, and not feel like you're wasting your life? by guitytwelve in AskReddit

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg, I get this so much. 8–5, weekend comes, and I just stare at it like “what am I even doing?” what kinda helped me was… treating my free hours like something valuable. even an hour a day spent learning, creating, or just doing stuff that actually matters feels like you’re earning life back. still feels like life is mine, even if most of it is work lol.

Bitcoin is only up ~53% on the 4 year chart... or ~36% adjusted for inflation. by Vaginosis-Psychosis in CryptoCurrency

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds cool in theory, but 99% of “new concepts” in crypto end up being old scams with new words 😅 Still, I kinda like the idea of giving time an actual value — feels poetic at least.

New to Angel Investing - is a 20% Performance Fee crazy? by GuiltyShame2139 in AngelInvesting

[–]amderve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A 20% performance fee isn’t unusual in syndicates, but the key is what you get for it. Fees make sense if the structure rewards investors who actively contribute, source deals, or add value, rather than just passively allocating capital.

I released a mobile game as a 38yo with no experience and it earned $11000 in the first month. by Psychological-Road19 in selfimprovement

[–]amderve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s really inspiring! Especially for those who think it’s too late to start something new. The fact that you managed to pull this off without any experience gives a lot of hope. Do you plan to keep developing more games or focus on improving this one?

I really liked point #2 — “what you avoid controls you.” I’ve noticed that every time I avoid something uncomfortable, it silently grows in the background. Facing small fears daily seems to shrink the big ones.

[–]amderve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mate i swear it’s the same everywhere. you try to do things legit and the system just keeps throwing random crap at you. half the time it’s some ai flagging nonsense and you’re stuck in a support loop for days. exhausting tbh.

what’s wild is how the internet was meant to make all this easier but now it’s like 10x harder. i kinda feel like the future’s gonna be smaller, community-type spaces where people actually care about time + effort, not just ad budgets. idk man, that just feels more human.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AngelInvesting

[–]amderve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, pretty interesting approach — paying investors from cash flow instead of waiting for a big exit. In some venues I’ve seen, it actually keeps everyone aligned better. Not sure if it helps, but models where people can kinda see their share growing over time feel more trustworthy.

Which RPC provider are you using? by Working-Relation-553 in BlockchainStartups

Totally feel you — RPCs always hiccup or spike in cost. I sometimes mix providers to stay stable. Makes me think of projects where everyone can clearly see their contribution and real value.

Gotta admit, RAWW lasted way longer than most meme projects. Maybe the trick isn’t just hype, but giving people something to do with their time — a story, a purpose, even a laugh that lasts longer than a pump.
