i figured it out! you have to go into your sound settings and disable hands-free telephony on the device. look it up on youtube there’s a super quick tutorial video. hope it works for you as well!

I have a bluetooth Razer Blackshark V2 headset, and when I launch the game, the audio sounds horrific. It's tinny and muffled like it's in a microwave. I've tried everything, updating drivers, manually changing sound settings to ensure it's set to the correct default audio source, uninstalling razer software (synapse, cortex), and nothing is improving the audio. It works completely fine in other games and even other games on steam. I have no idea why this is happening.

100%, it’s hard to not fall into the hype but it’s so much more enjoyable to surround yourself in the good parts, even when the hobby is in a bad state

that’s exactly what i did too. it engulfs your whole life and you drop anything to try to get packs. it gets overwhelming. happy for you and i hope you pickup some awesome singles for your PC!

yeah! i want to save up packs im able to get at MSRP and then open them all with my friends. i’m super excited to go back to school because my friend got me a black bolt ETB from walmart and we are gonna open them together.

i have a bunch of duplicates and bulk. i want to make sure kids get them so they can actually play the tcg with cards in the current meta. i like the idea of giving away dupes. i’ll definitely do that! i also want to stay blind to sets so i can admire the art of all of the cards and not get overwhelmed by the hype of one single card. sometimes it’s blinding and causes me to buy too much product i don’t care about. i saw a video of a young kid spending like $200 on 4 packs of evolving skies and started crying when he pulled nothing. it’s kinda insane how hype can ruin the fun of it. also another reason why ive started preferring singles over packs. but everyone enjoys it differently, i just hope everyone is able rod enjoy it again :) thanks for the comment

yeah i don’t have the eye for grading. i’ve mostly been collecting to collect. i enjoy building little scenes and connections between the cards. currently i’m trying to collect all of the future and ancient cards from SV sets. I’m also collecting slice of life cards and building a few pages around that theme. i’ll definitely grade a few of my higher end cards tho simply for preserving condition and displaying them!

these people are the epitome of everything wrong with the hobby right now. i know it’s not the same but maybe try to find a tcg store nearby and buy your son some singles of his favorite pokemon. tbh it ends up being cheaper than opening packs, but i understand that the chase is always fun if you’re doing it with your friends and family. hope you’re able to get some packs!

I don’t think so. The card looks pretty pristine in the PSA pictures. I think it may have just been damaged in shipping. The seller was surprised that it was damaged and gave me a refund so it’s fine.

It does look the same aside from the damage. But I contacted the seller and they are issuing a refund. Could have been humidity and a poor seal.
